"Re-Emergence" brings together works of art by friends who, more than ten years ago, joined their talents to form a cooperative gallery in Kent called Group Ten Gallery under the sponsorship of the late Ron Burbick. Featuring local artists Ben Bassham, Debrah Butler, Jeff Fauser, Judy Gaiser, Linda Hutchinson, Tom Jackson, Dan Lindner, Geoff Mowery, John Sharp and John Smolko. On view June 18 through July 31, 2021.
The Massillon Museum is currently showing a solo exhibition titled 鈥淪uspended Animations鈥 featuring Rebecca Cross, M.F.A. 鈥07, on view through June 16. The exhibition, which is on view in the museum's Studio M gallery, includes a series of drawings on silk and a sculptural installation.

As an artist, it is always important to connect with the community. An artist鈥檚 network, whether it鈥檚 through their studio, galleries or even social media, can lead to amazing opportunities and recognition. A shining example of this is School of Art alumna , who began her career as a figurative painter, and later started embracing landscapes after she earned her undergraduate degree.
One of the qualities of a great artist is being able to stop and notice one鈥檚 surroundings. Painter can often be seen searching for inspiration in his hometown of Cleveland, depicting and finding the beauty in ordinary moments.
It is not often that you have the opportunity to photograph figures such as Oprah Winfrey or to meet former President Barack Obama, but Georgio Sabino III鈥檚 career has led him to do so.
