Senior Jake Addessi’s spring break memories include feeding the poor and helping to renovate a building damaged in a hurricane. Addessi has taken part in Alternative Spring Break trips for four straight years.

Senior Jake Addessi has spent all of his undergraduate spring breaks in places like New Orleans and Chicago. Yet, unlike his peers, none of the getaways were for fun in the sun. Instead, Addessi was taking part in Alternative Spring Breaks to help others in need.

For Emily Grubb, all it took was looking through a magazine to decide where to go to college. A copy of magazine led Grubb to Kent State.
