On March 19, the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles volleyball team was recognized in the Ohio State House of Representatives by Jodi Salvo and the State Senate by Al Landis for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2024 USCAA Division II National Championship.

Kent State will now travel to Loyola University Chicago for the quarterfinal round. The Golden Flashes and Ramblers will tipoff on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. eastern time inside Gentile Arena.

The Kent State Golden Flashes men's and women's basketball teams gave their fans nothing to be mad (angry) about this March! Both teams ended their exceptional regular season play and continued on to play in the Mid-America Conference Tournament at Cleveland's Rocket Arena. The men's team also went on to play in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

������ alumnus Antonio Gates has begun his journey to football immortality, recently visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, to meet with officials and begin preparations for his enshrinement. The former basketball standout at Kent State will become just the second Golden Flash to earn a gold jacket, joining linebacker Jack Lambert who was enshrined in 1990.

On Tuesday and Wednesday last week, both Golden Flashes basketball teams - men's and women's - earned victories that clinched their entry into the 2025 Mid-America Conference Tournament.
