On Friday, Kent State welcomed more than 550 high school students and their parents to the Kent Campus for Preview KSU. This is first of two Preview KSU events created to show prospective students what life on campus is like. Students tour campus, led by Kent State student guides, visit model residence hall rooms, the academic departments that interest them, and learn important financial aid information. Visitors also enjoy lunch, ice cream and music on Manchester Field.
The most recent visitors to campus came from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and even Greece!
These events create a lasting impression on students; of the more than 650 students who attended Summer Preview KSU events last year, 80% later applied to Kent State.
