Student Defies Health Expectations - Will Join Kent State Masters Program This Fall

Doctors told her that she would never be able to walk again, she wouldn鈥檛 finish high school and would never make it to college. But this soon-to-be college graduate and upcoming 黑料网 Master鈥檚 student has proven those expectations wrong.

According to a report by News Channel 9 in Chattanooga, Tenn., Hannah Boulware suffered two seizures in 2013 that sent her falling down 17 stairs. She sustained severe head and back injuries and was in a coma for two weeks. She spent the following six months in rehab. Doctors told Ms. Boulware that she would not be able to go back to high school nor would she be able to attend college.

Despite these predictions, Ms. Boulware walked across the stage Saturday, May 4, to receive a degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. This fall, Ms. Boulware will begin her Master鈥檚 program in rehabilitation counseling at Kent State.
