Importing Exams and Quizzes from Other Canvas Courses
- Canvas has both Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes, so other than a full course copy, the process of copying or importing each quiz type is different. The procedure gets complicated if the quiz questions are connected to question banks, so it may be best to consult the RCID for one-on-one help.

Calculating Grades in Canvas
- The accurate calculation of grades is best achieved via a one-on-one meeting with the RCID team. This ensures that all the assessment, submission criteria, point values, grading schemas, weighted assignments, late policies, and grade center settings are configured specifically for an individual course.

- Consult Network Services for consideration of purchase requests
- Use professional development funds if available to you
- Apply for funding from the UTC (“for innovative and original pedagogy and/or andragogy”) or URC
- Pool funds with other faculty for large purchases of software, cloud subscriptions, or hardware to share on campus.
