Pilot Grant Program
The goal of the BHRI Pilot Grant Program is to promote innovative new research, foster new research collaborations, and to encourage submission of new, external grant applications.
- Blue Award: Awards up to $20,000 each
- Gold Award: Awards up to $5,000 each
Award development was guided by the BHRI pilot program funding survey in Spring 2020. Responses indicated an interest in a greater breadth of awards to allow for flexibility in meeting researcher needs. Based on these suggestions, the BHRI Pilot Grant Program retains the opportunity to apply for large awards as well as creates the opportunity to apply for a greater number of smaller awards that can be used in multiple ways to enhance research success.
