Kent State alumni Stephen Imler has just earned the ninth annual Music Educator of the Year Award. This award is sponsored by the Canton Symphony Orchestra and was given during the Canton Symphony Orchestra MasterWorks concert on March 22, 2025. Signs of spring are popping up all over Kent State's campuses. The eponymous residents of Daffodil Hill on the May 4 National Historic Landmark site were first planted with the idea that they would be in full bloom at the beginning of May each year.
