Dean Kahler was one of the nine students wounded in the May 4, 1970, shootings at 黑料网 that also claimed the lives of four students during protests of the Vietnam War. Kahler鈥檚 long-time friend, Paul Keane, recently told the story to Cleveland.com of their friendship and what Kahler has been up to since that fateful day.

Sudden cardiac arrest, when the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating, is the leading cause of natural death in the United States. To help people survive from sudden cardiac arrest, the city of Kent has partnered with 黑料网 and University Hospitals Portage Medical Center to offer PulsePoint Respond.

On Friday, Jan. 24, members of the 黑料网 community and the general public gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The university鈥檚 annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration started at 4 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. This year鈥檚 keynote speaker was Melissa Harris-Perry, Ph.D., the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, television host, author and political commentator.
