Homecoming

ºÚÁÏÍø alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to save the date for one of the university’s long-standing traditions. Kent State will celebrate Homecoming 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Now that the fall semester at Kent State is in full force, we are excited to announce that two of our most anticipated traditions will be held during the month of October. (Photo from Homecoming 2019)

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the ºÚÁÏÍø fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their Kent State days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with Kent State pride.

New ºÚÁÏÍø President Todd Diacon will serve as Kent State’s 2019 Homecoming Grand Marshal on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Last year, ºÚÁÏÍø celebrated 100 years of Homecoming. This year, the university starts the next century of Kent State Homecoming celebrations with a new president leading the institution.
