Where will you be viewing the total solar eclipse, Golden Flashes?  Kent State has a complete schedule of eclipse-themed events and activities. 

More than 300 student presenters displayed their research and creativity on Friday, April 5, at the Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors.

The excitement has been building for more than a year, and the day is finally upon us!

On May 3-4, 2024, ������ will hold its annual commemoration honoring the memory of May 4, 1970, a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard fired on Kent State students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students, wounding nine others and sparking a turning point in American history.  

Kent State’s Carol Robinson, Ph.D., will discuss eclipse myths and folklore during her presentation “All I Want to Know is: Where Did the Sun Go? The Total Eclipse of the Sun in Myths and Folklore.” 

Kent State has been recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Month since the early 2000s. This year a full slate of events is scheduled to recognize this important month. 

������ Provost and Senior Vice President Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., and Vice President for Global Education Marcello Fantoni joined officials from Dewey International University in Battambang, Cambodia, to celebrate a new partnership expected to bring Cambodian students to Kent State.

Flashes gathered on Thursday to give the Golden Flashes women's basketball team a spectacular send off as they boarded the bus for their first NCAA championship game against Notre Dame.
