Ms. Kayleigh Crumb has been an excellent choice as the first student to receive the recently endowed ‘Elizabeth Z. Bartz Scholarship for Howland Tigers,’ given to a graduate of Howland High School and entering ºÚÁÏÍø at Trumbull Campus as a freshman. Ms. Crumb received the 2016 scholarship award last Fall, after graduating from high school, and enrolling at the KSU Trumbull campus. After the first semester at the university, she was named to the Dean’s List by achieving a 4.0 grade average. In addition, she also received a KSU Trumbull Freshman Scholarship for her efforts. ...

May is Better Sleep Month. The aim of Better Sleep Month is to encourage people to establish better sleeping patterns. Refreshing sleep is important for staying healthy. Better Sleep Month is supported by the Better Sleep Council, which aims to raise awareness about the benefits of better sleep and how poor sleep can disrupt our lives. The next Lunchtime Bike Ride will take place on Tuesday, May 9, from noon to 12:50 p.m., as Chris John from the Department of Recreational Services leads a 30-40 minute ride on the Kent Campus, as well as the surrounding community.
