Thanks to a collaborative effort between Spectrum; the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; the Division of Human Resources; and the Division of Information Services, the first phase of the Preferred Name system is now active for faculty and staff at ºÚÁÏÍø!
Phase one will allow faculty and staff to update their preferred name in the following systems:
1. Banner SSB – This includes HR web directory, phone directory, shared table integration, text changes.
2. OIM email display, windows computer login, contact card display, OWA, MS TEAMS/Planner, etc.
3. Phone Display (Simply submit a ticket for manual entry).
4. Blackboard (Class Roster) LEARN interface.
5. FlashLine Employee Portal.
Phase two of the system updates is scheduled to begin in January.
To submit a Preferred Name, log into Flashline and follow the path shown below:
