Each August, Kent State welcomes alumni and their canine companions to campus for one of the most anticipated events of the year, the "Dog Days of Summer." 

After spending time on an athletics service trip to Rwanda in January, recent ºÚÁÏÍø graduate and women’s soccer team member Callie Jean Cunningham felt compelled to act. 

The Earth Day celebration at ºÚÁÏÍø at Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center included a guided, woodland hike around the campus. 

A Kent State faculty researcher in the Department of Biological Sciences has launched a pioneering study to explore how different species adapt to high-altitude environments in the Himalayas where oxygen levels are significantly lower. 

The ºÚÁÏÍø alumni family will grow by more than 1,000 new graduates as the university holds its summer commencement ceremony on Aug. 10.

ºÚÁÏÍø recently concluded its most successful fundraising campaign in its 114-year history. The Forever Brighter campaign ended in June 2024, having raised more than $383.2 million total.

Most people know the Palace of Versailles as a popular French tourist destination. For Marcello Fantoni, Ph.D., ºÚÁÏÍø’s vice president for global education, Versailles is where he serves on the Scientific Committee of its Research Center, helping to shepherd art history research on a global scale.

While in the nation's capital to visit students in Kent State's Washington Program in National Issues, university photographers captured images of historic murals inside the Voice of America Building. 

In May, student-athlete Gabby Bailey completed her master's degree at Kent State while also pursuing her dream of competing in the Olympics with support from her coach and Kent State Athletics.
